WAHM Winter Wonderland:Wooly Mama Wear Review & Giveaway

The next post in our WAHM Winter Wonderland comes from Wooly Mama Wear. Here is the bio on her and her online store.

My name is Myria Rodeman and I own Wooly Mama Wear. I have always had of love of creating and began sewing about 10 years ago. Once I had children I developed a love for all things wool and since then have combined my love of fiber arts, cloth diapering, wool, and upcycling into what is now Wooly Mama Wear. I love creating unique and one of a kind woolies! My patterns are all my own. I try to offer affordable, yet well-made wool diaper covers, longies, shorties, booties, baby legs, baby clothes, hats, baby items (bibs, burp cloths, mattress pads, etc), mama items (nursing pads, arm warmers, diaper bags and wet bags) and more! I have the largest span of wool options that you will find anywhere. I offer both upcycled and new wool products, various styles of closure for covers, longies, and shorties. My skirties have detachable unders which allow for endless mix and match options! I pride myself on the care and love that I put into each of my creations. Each Wooly Mama Wear Purchase supports my efforts as a stay at home mom to create a happy and healthy sustainable life and homestead for my family, and for this I am so grateful!

We tried out one of her awesome Os Wool covers here is the one I received. It was even softer than i thought it would be.
This cover is a OS fits most (small nb's and large toddlers excluded). It is an angora/cashmere blend and is lined with cashmere.

It has reinforcements under the snaps to help prevent any tearing with the delicate cashmere.
The one we tried has a custom hedgehog pattern on the butt so cute!!! I used this over a fitted diaper and the fit is great.
Here is my favorite shot the backside!!
It is so adorable i just love it. We love to use this cover at nap times and overnight. It is very trim and we have not had a leak yet. It came lanolized and ready to go and i love that. I will then just clean and Lanolize when needed. If you don't know how to lanolize I have a how to video HERE. Wool is so easy to use we also even use them in the summer. They are so breathable yet absorbent they are a great addition to any cloth diaper collection.

One lucky TTGG follower will be winning a custom wool cover!

Babies 1st Birthday:The Raspberry Patch Boutique Wool Soakers and Shorties & Giveaway

The Raspberry Patch Boutique is ran by WAHM Malina and she has a great variety of items that she makes. I tried out a pair os Shorties and a soaker. Her prices are great as well soakers start at $12 shorties and longies start at $15. First is my favorite is the custom applique Upcycled Merino Wool Shorties.

I wont forget the backside shot which is my favorite.
I love these I love wool but it must be a thin wool and non scratchy so I was really excited when these were in my mail box. I took them out and I immediately washed and Lanolized them. I have a how to video and when it is up I will add it to the bottom of this post. We have been using these during the day over fitted diapers. The fit on these are great and they will last him awhile with a little room to spare. These were made with custom measurements that I gave her. She was very sweet and walked me thru the measurement process so we would get it right and it worked great. Here is how they look on.
Now here is the backside.
I also tried out a soaker as well and it is just as cute.
Now the back.
I love how thin these are and i can still fit them inside his pajamas. I even sometimes put these over my covers at night time just because he is such a heavy wetter at night for extra protection.

One lucky TTGG follower will be winning their choice of either a Wool Longie with a applique/Embroiders, Mama Cloth, or Family Cloth/Cloth Wipes.

The Squishable Baby Custom Wool

Squishable Baby has all of your wearable wool needs for your baby. Here is a little bit about her from her website.

Hey!  I’m Lisa – the owner, operator, resident dyer and sewer, CEO, CFO, Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, President, Head Honcho, Accountant, payroll clerk, mail room clerk and everything else you can imagine!
Many people ask how I came up with the name Squishable Baby.  Well, it’s because I have 3 very cute and sweet squishes in my life – Two sons (8 years old and 7 months) and one baby girl (4 years old).  They are my all and my everything.  Heavenly Father certainly blessed me with these three kiddos.  They drive me crazy and give me complete joy – at the same time.  How is that possible, you ask?
No clue.
Here, in my part of the internet, I blog – I dye – I sew – and I sell – and not necessarily in that order.  I care about the strength of the American family – so you will see me blogging about  relationship strengthening ideas, family togetherness activities, eco friendly tips, Squishable Baby softness, homeschooling, Natural parenting stuff, faith, and a whole lot about kids…kids…kids…and more kids.  I love to talk about how to keep kids safe and in school doing the right thing!
When I’m not blogging, I’m dyeing.  When I’m not dyeing, I’m sewing.  Yep.  I hand dye and sew Merino wool and bamboo pants for babies.  They are fun, soft and squishy pants that they can rough and tumble play in – or go out at night and be fancy in!  The fibers are certainly sustainable – and durable!  Perfect for environmentally cautious busy body squishes.

I tried out three different wool products here is what I received.
These are a pair of shorties, and two soakers. They are so soft and the fabric is really nice. Here is one of the soakers on. Her products are made with Merino wool. The Soakers are made with extra layer of Merino wool in the wetzone. The soakers are called The Sonnet Soakers and  this one is in Sapphire Blue.

The backside shot.
Now the shorties are called The Arlo. Felted Merino wool upper and lower, the Arlo shorties give ultimate protection against wetness when treated with lanolin.

We can't forget a backside shot of these. I love them!
To get these waterproof you need to treat them with lanolin. It is easy to do and you can do a few pairs at a time. These are great and I will continue to use these. I like the colors and they are so affordable.
